Health & Wellness
GAFRI offers a variety of health and wellness benefits so eligible associates
can choose the ones that best meet their needs.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending accounts are available to set aside pre-tax dollars for
healthcare expenses and dependent daycare expenses.
Medical
We offer three very different medical plans and three different coverage levels
designed to meet the diverse needs of our workforce. These plans offer
associates more control over the healthcare they receive and have differing
deductible, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket maximum amounts.
Dental
Dental benefits are provided through MetLife with no provider restrictions.
Coverage level is based on services provided. In addition, discounted services
are provided through a preferred network of dental providers.
Vision
We offer a vision program through Spectera. The plan provides savings on
eye-care needs, including eye exams, frames, lenses, and contacts.
Short-Term Disability Insurance
We provide short-term disability benefits to associates completing six months
of service.
Long-Term Disability Insurance
Long-term disability benefits are available to all associates.
Life Insurance
Basic life insurance is provided to all associates at no cost. The option to
purchase additional personal life insurance and dependent life insurance is
also available.

Work Schedules & Time Off
GAFRI understands the importance of time away from work as part of a healthy,
balanced life. For example, flextime and special summer hours are available, in
addition to the programs listed below.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Our PTO program ranks as one of the most highly valued benefits when compared
to other area employers. It consists of a combined bank of days spent away from
work because of vacation, illness, or personal needs.
Short-Term Disability (STD)/Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Bank
At the time of hire, associates receive time in their FMLA "bank."
Company Holidays
Depending on where days fall in a calendar year, GAFRI typically offers from
six to eight paid holidays each year.

Retirement & Savings
GAFRI associates have several options in planning and saving for their
retirement, as well as a share in the growth of our organization during their working
years with the Company.
Retirement and Savings Plan
This plan consists of two components: a 401(k) component and the Retirement
Account.
Our 401(k) Plan helps associates supplement their retirement savings. Associates
contribute a percentage of their eligible earnings on a pre-tax basis. The
Company provides a 100 percent match of the first 1 percent of pay
associates contribute, and a 50 percent match of the next 2 percent of pay they
contribute.
The Retirement Account is 100 percent funded by the Company; the contribution is
allocated to each associate's Retirement Account based on the performance of
the Company each year.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan
The plan gives associates the ability to purchase stock at a discounted rate
through payroll deduction.
Individual Retirement Annuity - Flexible Premium Annuity
Associates have additional opportunities to save for retirement through these
annuity products.

Education & Professional Development
GAFRI's emphasis on "growing people" is visibly demonstrated through its strong
support of learning and training throughout the organization.
On-Site Training
GAFRI offers a broad on-site training curriculum including courses about our
business, computer technology, written communication, and professional
development. These various courses address topics such as conflict resolution,
interpersonal communication, and leadership. These courses are available to all
associates and consistently receive excellent reviews from participants.
Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Additionally, each associate of the Company uses a tool called the Individual
Development Plan (IDP). The IDP allows associates and managers to identify
short- and long-term learning goals, expectations, and opportunities. The plan
encompasses the specific knowledge needed to perform one's job, professional
certifications and designations, as well as the on-site course offerings
mentioned above. Associates say they feel empowered and valued because the
Company is willing to invest time, money, and resources into their individual
growth and development.
Education Financial Assistance Program
GAFRI seeks to promote continuous improvement and lifelong learning and also to
enhance the competitiveness of our workforce by increasing relevant skills and
knowledge. In keeping with this objective, we offer an Education Financial
Assistance Program, which is an education expense reimbursement plan for
full-time employees who are in good standing with at least six months of
service with the Company. Reimbursements are made for any coursework that will
enhance performance in one's current or feasible future position. Examples
include insurance industry courses (e.g., CLU, LOMA, etc.), job-related
academic degree programs and coursework, and online degrees/e-learning.

life at GAFRI.
Employee Assistance Program
This program offers free confidential, professional counseling to all
associates and their families along with other life-cycle services including
child and elder daycare, legal assistance, and college search assistance.
Wellness Program
Throughout the year associates take advantage of programs designed to enhance
their health, including access to the Great American Fitness Club (available to
all Cincinnati associates for a nominal annual fee) and company-subsidized health club
memberships at several local facilities. We also periodically offer flu shots,
mammograms, and cholesterol and prostate screenings.
Direct Deposit
Associates are paid biweekly (26 times per year). In Cincinnati, most
associates receive pay by direct deposit into the checking account or financial
institution of their choice.
Parking & Bus Service
GAFRI has pricing agreements with parking garages and lots near our offices and
with Cincinnati's Metro bus service. You may arrange payment for parking and/or
bus passes through pre-tax payroll deduction.
Attire
We follow a "business casual" dress code.
