Senior Class Life
Peace of mind takes planning - which is why United Teacher Associates Life Insurance Company (UTA) offers you Senior Class Life.1 This traditional whole life insurance policy can pay a cash death benefit to your beneficiary to help ease the financial burden on your family members during their time of loss. As a Senior Class Life policyholder, you may avoid costly estate settlements or probate fees and make sure your wishes are respected after you are gone.

Your Senior Class Life death benefit can help pay for:

  • Credit card debt
  • Funeral home expenses
  • Cemetery plot and burial costs

Policy Features
Your Senior Class Life premiums are guaranteed never to increase, and your coverage is guaranteed never to decrease. In addition, your policy accumulates cash value on a tax-deferred basis. Plus, when your beneficiary receives the policy death benefit, it is income-tax free.

The minimum face amount for a Senior Class Life policy is $2,500; the maximum face amount is $25,000. The issue ages are 45-85; premiums are based on age at your last birthday.

Accidental Death Rider (available at additional cost)
If selected, the Accidental Death Rider2 will double your death benefit if death occurs within 180 days of and as a result of a covered accidental injury. Your benefits are tripled if that covered accident results from riding as a passenger in a bus, plane, train, boat or ship, subway, or streetcar operated by a common carrier transporting passengers for hire.

Preferred Whole Life Insurance

United Teacher Associates Life Insurance Company offers you Preferred Whole Life Insurance3 to help ease this burden for your family and help defer the high cost of final expenses. This traditional whole life insurance policy pays a cash death benefit to your beneficiary to help relieve some of the financial obligations that your family will have to face after you are gone.

Your Preferred Whole Life Insurance death benefit can help pay for a variety of expenses, including mortgage payments, unpaid medical bills, credit card debt, and funeral/burial costs.

Policy Features
Your Preferred Whole Life Insurance premiums are guaranteed never to increase, and your coverage is guaranteed never to decrease. In addition, your policy accumulates cash value on a tax-deferred basis. Our Accelerated Death Benefit Rider and optional Accidental Death Benefit Rider4 can provide permanent protection. Plus, there is no policy application fee, and as long as premiums are paid on time, your policy is guaranteed renewable for life. If you are a smoker or have health problems, you may still qualify for standard rates.

The minimum face amount for a Preferred Whole Life Insurance policy is $1,000; the maximum face amount is $25,000 for ages 1-75 and $10,000 for ages 76-80. The issue ages are 1-80, and premiums are based on age nearest your birthday.

Accelerated Death Benefit Rider
The Accelerated Death Benefit Rider5 is included in your Preferred Whole Life Insurance policy at no extra cost in the states where this rider is approved for use. Up to 50 percent of the face amount of this policy is available to you as the insured in the event you become terminally ill with a life expectancy of 12 months or less.6 In addition, the face amount must be at least $10,000, and the policy and this Accelerated Death Benefit Rider must be in full force at the time of claim.

Optional Accidental Death Benefit Rider
The Accidental Death Benefit Rider7 is available for an additional premium in the states where this rider is approved for use. As the insured, your selected death benefit amount is payable upon proof that your death resulted within 180 days of and directly from a covered accidental injury. Your total death benefit is the face amount of the policy plus the face amount of this rider, which cannot be greater than the policy face amount. Both the policy and rider must be in full force on the date of the accidental death.
